Just found something cool -- little disk shaped fruit infusers, about 3 inches across. The idea is that you put fruit in them and drop them into pitchers of water. But I'm experimenting with using them as little humidifiers -- stuffing them with sterile gauze soaked in filtered water and putting them in the enclosure (out of his reach, of course) to add an extra bit of humidity to the air, kind of like the humidifiers in a humidor. If it works. it will let me adjust humidity at a sort of microclimate level, boosting it just a little in the areas that need it. Jury's not in yet on how well it works, but I thought I'd mention it, since it's cheap and potentially useful. If it works I'm going to attach one permanently in the rear opening of the humid hide.
