My tortoise is something about 7 to 8 years old ,and it's plastron is flat so it's possible that its a she,the concern is that she keeps flashing some pink organ from its tail, and I have used cocopeat as a substrate, and when ever she flashes her organ some of the cocopeat comes out stuck onto her organ, is it safe to keep her in cocopeat?IMG20220929140244.jpg

But it's plastron is flat and sometimes it's throws some white discharge also
Flat plastron or not, you have a male tortoise. The tail is longer than that of a female also. Both sexes will produce the urates (the white discharge).

He might not be full grown yet, but he can flash as a juvenile.

I don't know, I don't own your species. Hopefully an expert will be able to help. Pretty tortoise.

And what about the substrate, should i change it or keep it(cocopeat)
Coco peat is fine, but keep it lightly damp. Not wet. Just a little dampness.

I prefer to use fine grade orchid bark.

This tortoise should still have some growing to do at only 7 years old.

Hello 🤗 welcome to the Forum. I'm not an expert like the others here but I do have a suggestion. Sense you're seeing a problem you might want to just follow your gut. Maybe you could even put a layer of the other stuff on top of a portion of the enclosure just to see if you have the same problem. Then you could be sure it's worth changing it out. Or if not just make sure you give him a little look over and bath everyday 😂 I'm pretty sure you'll have the same problem until he gets used to the new apparatus 😊
