Question about feeding plants to tortoise.

When you feed the tortoise something such as a dandelion, do you only give them the yellow flower part or the stem too?

If it is only the flower, is the the same for every other plant?

All plants are different, but they can eat the entire dandelion. Leaves, stems and flowers.

Sorry. I'm not familiar with that one. I looked it up and it looks like thistle a bit. I'll bet @yvonne will know.

All plants are different to some degree, and it very safe to check each one before feeding. I've never heard of teasel, but my russain really likes thistle.

Teasel and thistles are very similar. Do you feed the spikey part? Or the leaves?

Does look like thistle. Prettier though :D I feed the leaves, because there wouldn't be much to eat if I the peeled the spiky part.
