I got a big enough tub for my 3.5 inch Sulcata. It stands 14 inches tall. I have a mesh lid holding the basking lamp/UVB/A and I have the tub's lid placed covering 2/3 of the enclosure holding up a CHE lamp. For better humidity and temperature control, I was thinking of placing a tub of the same length and width, but half it's height, on top of the enclosure. I would have that tub house the lightings. My concern is there won't be air for my Sulcata to breathe, but I'm reading that vents will drop my temps and humidity. Is there enough oxygen for my Sulcata if I do this or should I poke some holes. Note that it won't be completely sealing the tubs together just mounting one on top of another.

Greetings....there will be plenty of air getting in and circulating. Even in very well constructed tort enclosures....that are well sealed.... the torts do fine and breath. I’m assuming you will be lifting off the lid daily to soak, feed, change water, etc. plenty of time for air. Good luck
