What native to Madagascar ?? species of plants do radiated torts eat?

I would like to attempt to emulate their natural diet as much as possible…

I know they eat a lot of succulents/cacti/grasses/hays…

but, what specific species..?

In particular, what plants are in the area of the island that they are from…

like mainly, the south & south west of the island..?

Also, where do you recommend I buy these plants?

(Hopefully they’re not only available from seed-lol)

Thanks Radiata keepers!!!

???✌?

I don't have the answer to your question, and its a good question that I'd like to know more about, but thought I'd mention that there are no native cacti anywhere in Madagascar or Africa. Succulents yes, but opuntia is a new world plant. Opuntia has been introduced to Madagascar, and the radiata there do eat it, but its not a "native" plant that they evolved to eat.

I have been trying to find this out myself. I have a collection of plants that are native to the spiny forest region of Madagascar. So I have been trying to figure out if I can plant them in the enclosure we are planning out.
