Hi, I am from Malaysia and currently getting my Bachelor degree in PA, United States.

I have 2 radiated tortoise and they are both 4 years old. I feed them with plantain, sweet potato leaves, hibiscus flowers and leaves, mulberry leaves and sometimes cactus pad (diced). I also feed them with mazuri tortoise food once a week.

Can anyone please help me to identify whether they are male or female because I am considering to getting another pair if they are same sex. Or they are just too young to be identify?

Thank you:D

Here's the pictures, the first one is 9 inches long and the second one is 7.5 inches

Unfortunately radiated are almost impossible to sex visually until they reach 12-14". An endoscopy at 4 years old is the only way to tell. I have an 8 year old and swore it was a female and turned out its a boy. I'd say females on yours. But that's a total wild guess. Sorry

Maybe a pair. I hope it's a pair y
For yah. So you can get them to produce in the upcoming years.

Very nice torts regardless of the genders! I'm just curious, where are the torts? Are they in Malaysia? If they were with you in the U.S., I would be worried about you being able to get them home when you return to Malaysia.

It would be great to see some pictures of the top of them too!

Got this poor thing from a pet shop 2 weeks ago. According to the seller, its first owner thought it was a turtle and kept it in a turtle box which is filled with water all the time. The first owner even fed him dog food as the staple food until he sold it to the pet shop.
I bought him from the pet shop and hope that I can provide this poor thing with a better living environment.
Luckily he can still eat, poop and moving around normally.
Any advice on what I can do to make him recover back to a better status?

Wow that's sad. It appears they "thought" it was a turtle or perhaps the pet shop told them it was a turtle. Just sickens me seeing this especially with an endangered species.

Man that would be some stunning radiated if not for all the miserable care it received. The only advice I can give you to get him better would be to care for him like you do your other radiated.
