Hi. My radiated tortoise stopped eating exactly 1 week ago. It's around 7 inches. Housed inside in a vivarium. I live in southeast asia so it's warm here. Around 4 times a week I soak it outside under sunlight. Normally, it has a very good appetite but last week it just stopped eating. Drinks water regularly though and there have been around 2 instances where it ate just a few leaves. No sign of sickness at all. It moves actively especially when soaking outside. I started force feeding it mashed fruit for the past 3 days coz I got worried that it still wasn't eating. Would appreciated anyone's insights on why this is happening. I live in an area where the veterinarians are not experienced in taking care or tortoises so as much as possible I would like to try all solutions before taking it to the clinic. Thank you.

The most frequent cause of a tortoise not eating is because he's not warm enough. Yes, where you live is warm, BUT, is there a light where the tortoise can sit and get his core temperature up to at least 80F degrees?
