Realtime environment measurements

Hi guys, just started measuring temperature and humidity from my Leopard enclosure. It's realtime, you can check here :

I'm using Arduino Ethernet with DS1820 temp sensor and DHT11 humidity sensor. Uploading data on Xively.
Please share your experience

That is cool. What does a setup like that cost for parts?

I'm using Arduino Ethernet : https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11229
with https://www.sparkfun.com/products/245 and https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10167
So around 80$.
You can use Raspberry PI instead of Arduino, it's much better: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11546
As a bonus you can attach a camera to raspberry and stream it. Will do so soon
