Bobby is still not eating well or some days I don’t think he eats at all.
Even stuff he was eating like strawberries clovers dandelions bananas to stimulate his appetite he just doesn’t seem interested in. I boughr spring mix he wouldn’t touch it. I’ve tried rose leaves too.
Where do I find grape leaves?
I have you humidity and heat as directed. In the am his eyes are very slow to open during his soak. Once they open though he seems ok.
He didn’t poop today but he did a tiny amount yesterday.
Right now I have him under a clothes basket weighed down which for his size gives him room to roam.
I’m going to try to find an earth worm cause he ate a couple about 10 days ago.
He used to eat pretty quickly but I haven’t caught him eating in 4 or 5 days.
He is so little I really don’t know how much food he should be consuming either.
Any advice??? Help!

Could he be sick? Maybe take a fecal into your vet. He shouldn't be slow to wake he sounds more lethargic and he should be eating everyday. I give Skurt a pile of greens about as big as he is twice a day. He never finishes it but there is noticeable amounts gone. If you're not seeing a dent in his food and he's pooping very little he is not eating enough and there has to be a reason. Especially if he's refusing favorites.

What is a coil bulb? It’s a bulb for Che, especially for that or suppose to be.
Maturi? I’m going to have to look it up I don’t know what it is or where to find it.
Thanks for responding.
I have tak en pictures of his food on a few days and it looks the same, except dried up in this enclosure.

I think I’m going to have to take him to the vet. His eyes look clear after he opens them and he holds his head up and crawls some but he does seem lethargic, even for a turtle. Sometimes he takes his claws and paws at his eyes a few times. I looked at them with a magnifying glass and I see not drainage.

Coil builbs are bad for their eyes, if your bulb looks like this get rid of it

And mazuri is tortoise food, you can get it online or at pet shop

I had a coil bulb when I first got Murphy and he was doing the same thing. Soon as I heard they were bad I got rid of it and In a day or two he was better and wasnt keeping his eyes shut anymore.

That's a heat emitter not a light. Do you use a uvb light in his enclosure? Or any kind of light?

yes I use that heat emitter and a uvb light. I have forgot several times to shut off the uvb light at night because I don’t have a timer.
Is it possible this could be affecting him adversely?
I have been using the emitter and uvb together too because my uvb wasn’t putting out the needed heat.

Yes, he will need 12hrs light 12hrs darkness to mimic the sun. If not it could throw him off. Also the uvb bulb isn't like the picture I posted is it?

I’m going to wait a few dayswaiting for the mazuri before I take him to the vet unless he gets a lot worse.
He is safe outside during the day with shade and sun too. I’m going to keep him out there everyday for a few hours unless the weather gets bad, especially for at least a couple of days. Keep his uvb light off at night.
If this doesn’t help I know he is definitely sick.
Thanks so much for the advice, I’ve had some anxiety about it.

No. Can you see the one I posted? It’s black with a flat end
That's not a UVB light that's a heat emmiter. Is that all you have? Do you not have a second fixture with an actual bulb that puts out light.
