Hi, I just noticed two red orangey spots on my tortoise's head, they're on the both side of the head, near the ears... I tried to (gently) scrap the spots but nothing came off... she's eating well and doesn't seem bothered by it. Is it normal?

Let's have all the details of how you are keeping her, including pictures please, so then we might get some ideas. Substrate, diet, temperatures etc.

The substrate is coco peat only. I put her in indoor enclosure, with 12 hour/day 25 watt uvb lamp. It's rainy season here, temp around 24-31⁰ celcius (75-87⁰F), humidity around 75%. Main diet mazuri pellets, with a little bit of timothy hay. Water soak twice a week.
A friend said it's a scratch wound from her own carapace... is it posible?

Hello, were you able to find out what this was? Has it left? I have a sulcata and just noticed he/she also has these orange markings on each side of his/her face. No change in activity or eating. I’m hoping it’s nothing serious. Thank you.

It's possible that she is getting scratched on her carapace, yes.
