Redfoot Advice

Hello all,
I am new to the forum, and am looking for some advice. I have been researching and thinking about getting a Redfoot. I live in Southeast Louisiana where most of the year is hot and humid. Do you think if I build a heated shelter could an adult stay outdoors year round here? I would build something like on Toms threads with an oil heater on a thermostat. I am trying to adopt an adult one.

Yes ! I live in Texas thats how I will be keeping my reds this winter . I need my garage back . You will have to make sure they are locked up every night and let out every morning .
