I brought 3 redfoot eggs in for incubation back in early April; all three hatched the second week of August.

Today I went into the outdoor enclosure and this little one was just sitting there! I must have missed an egg.

Pics of #4 and the three indoor-incubated hatchlings below.

You probably missed a whole clutch. There are probably more babies running around out there.
hmm maybe, except yolk sac is absorbed, so seems to be from same clutch as others? but I will look around!

found three more. yolk sacs absorbed but they seem slightly younger than the indoor clutch. there’s three mature female cherryheads in enclosure so I must’ve missed digging/laying! what a great surprise though

So you found three additional ones making a total of four found outside? Do you now have 7 babies total?

If so, maybe there were two clutches laid, and you found one and not the other.
