Very cool, congratulations on your hatchling!I brought 3 redfoot eggs in for incubation back in early April; all three hatched the second week of August.
Today I went into the outdoor enclosure and this little one was just sitting there! I must have missed an egg.
Pics of #4 and the three indoor-incubated hatchlings below.

hmm maybe, except yolk sac is absorbed, so seems to be from same clutch as others? but I will look around! You probably missed a whole clutch. There are probably more babies running around out there.
right you were!!You probably missed a whole clutch. There are probably more babies running around out there.
found three more. yolk sacs absorbed but they seem slightly younger than the indoor clutch. there’s three mature female cherryheads in enclosure so I must’ve missed digging/laying! what a great surprise thoughhmm maybe, except yolk sac is absorbed, so seems to be from same clutch as others? but I will look around!

If so, maybe there were two clutches laid, and you found one and not the other.
