redfoot tort enclosure questions

Hello! my red foot and my Russian are in the same enclosure (i know its bad), But is grass OK for the flooring of an redfoot enclosure? trying to get him a separate pen as quick as i can.

Use this for the Redfoot enclosure.
You can find it at HOME DEPOT for not much money.
Also, just to get him away from that Russian, maybe place the Redfoot in a plastic kiddie pool outdoors for now?(like the $10 ones at Family dollar)
If you do, poke holes in the bottom so that if it rains, your tortoise doesn't drown.
Right now, our weather is great for a Redfoot to live outside.
I'm assuming that you live near me in south central Broward.

i bought bags of this mulch (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001OVF6Z8/?tag=exoticpetnetw-20) would that be ok?
