Hi my redfoot adores my dogs dry complete dog food. Is there any harm in letting her have a few of these biscuits occasionally. I appreciate they will swell a little in her stomach and am therefore careful with quantity. She has access to fresh water. Is there any nutrition in this food for her. Thanks.

Remember they love eating all types of poop but it doesn't mean it is good for them. I agree with Ed, moderation should be fine.

Dog kibble is about as good for red-foots as it is for humans. Humans and redfoots are omnivores, and while protein is an important part of our diet, it should be a moderated part.

Kibble also generally has a lot of fats and oils, as well as sugars. This is not a big deal for high-metabolism animals like mammals, but it needs to be really monitored for low-metabolism animals or it will contribute to obesity. (The added sugars are one big reason a lot of animals like kibble.)
