Wow, that's kind of scary. He's got so much yolk on his belly he might drown if you weren't there to monitor.

Why I left him in the lower portion of the egg....
He/she has a very large yolk sac....not even a prem"e" baby either.

That is such a sweet picture. Looks like a lot of effort for a hatchling to break out of the egg.

Easy for some and not so for others. The egg itself is two layers. The outer portion we are all familiar with hard and breaks easily , the inside shell , which is leathery/pliable , and can be quiet hard to tear. The inners of the egg consists of albumen- and is AMAZINGLY sticky and gel like.
Factors of "easy/hard" hatches can be for numerous reasons -with one main one .....humidity during incubation times as well as hatching time. But that is just not the sole reason ...............
