Renewing Sphagnum moss

Well i bought 'Zoo med forest floor' for my :tort: and it says i should boil it to clean it instead of buying new...
I also bought 'Zoo med Sphagnum moss' for my :tort: does this need renewing or washing at anytime if yes how often? thank you very much would really help!

Because you're only 13, I realize that money is probably tight for you. Do what you have to do. I just buy new stuff.

I never thought of boiling it. I think that is a good idea. I wish stuff had larger print instructions. Sometime I can't see instructions even with glasses on :(

I peel mine out when it starts looking dry and submerge it in water. If it stays intact I will put it back in when it is saturated. If it falls apart I use new. I also freeze it for 2 days before I put the new moss in because the first time I used it, tiny little gnats invaded my enclosure. Now I just freeze everything before adding it to the enclosure.
