Reputable Breeder for Box Turtles

I’d love to get in contact with a reputable box turtle breeder. I’m just about ready to welcome one into my home and I’m starting to look for breeders, but I’m having trouble finding any. I’m in the Ohio area but I’m also willing to pay to have a turtle shipped to me.

I doubt that if legal, you are having issues beyond the required effort but you can always look it up on the Ohio State website. They will tell you if it's legal to own/import/breed/take on a motorcycle....well, maybe not that specifically but you get the drill.

Might look in the for sale and barter folders.....

Box turtles are wonderful and absolute individuals.....you hang around a bit......there are a bunch of top notch breeders-for-sales here but they don't toot their own horns so you have to look for them.

Likely no one has commented simply because they don't want to show favoritism to one of more folks......or they already know you aren't supposed to.
