Resident Evil Fans?

Any resident evil fans out there? I'm talking about the games not the movies (sorry @Tom)

What are your thoughts on the announced remake of RE2? http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/08/12/capcom-announces-resident-evil-2-remake?watch

They say it'll be awhile before it's completed, but if it revitalizes the game like the Gamecube remake of RE1 did, it will be worth the wait.

RE2 was by far the most influential game I've played. I really didn't play much until I was introduced to RE2 back when I was in 8th or 9th grade, so I can blame that game for the downfall of my high school career. It was definitely worth it though . Needless to say, I am looking forward to the remake!

So Neal, I'm reading through your posts since you seem so knowledgeable and I'm on the market for leopard tortoises (Great info by the way). I'm over two years late to this conversation (still no game) but I know it will be worth the wait. At least Resident Evil 7 was awesome.

I still love Resident Evil Zero the best. Probably the only one.
