What is the best way to tell Rhinoclemmys punctularia sexes apart? Is it the same for all Rhinoclemmys species? I have two of what i believe are manni.

The anal scutes show differing "shapes" also the tails will be fatter and a bit longer in males. Could you provide photos of them?

I hope these are okay. Turtle 1 is slightly smaller and lighter than turtle 2.

I don't keep this species, but it looks like you've got a pair. First female, second male. Good luck breeding them!

Thanks for the replies! We keep and breed Redfoots and are more familiar with their traits-this is a little tougher for us! The second one is heavier and slightly larger than #1 so, despite the tails, we actually thought the second one may be female. Any input on the care and breeding of manni is very much appreciated!
