I was hiking in the mountains today and came across a large deposit of moss growing on rocks I brought some home and its long fibered and seems okay. I was just wondering if it was safe to use in my turtles enclosure or not. Here is a picture of it thank you in advance for your replies.

I have that growing all over the rocks by my pond. I always use if for my outdoor enclosures and never had a problem. I even scrape it off and put some in my indoor enclosures in the summer.

I have moss growing on things too - I never see them eating it and it doesn't seem to hurt anyone.
