Romaine recall last week

I had heard that there was a recall on romaine lettuces where I am (winnipeg) last week. Due to salmonella. Should I avoid romaine in general or could this happen with other greens.. I always wash everything really well

It seems to be a steady slow stream of various greens and other produce being found to carry salmonella. I think before this, it was cantaloupes. Any of the contaminated items should no longer be on the grocery shelves, so anything now should be safe.

Thanks Jacqui, My worry is is not having been pulled before I buy it..I think I worry to much over Shelloise!

mangos are making people sick now..
romaine should not be a staple food.. its ok to mix it, but much more variety is needed and dark green.
Yes, it could happen with anything...
