Hi all :)
I got this little guy from someone who couldn’t keep him anymore. Now, when I got him she told me he was a Greek tortoise but he looks a lot more like a Russian to me. Is he a Greek or a Russian tortoise? and what are the visual/physical differences between those two?

That is a young Russian tortoise! He looks too pyramided to be Wild Caught (WC), but I’m probably wrong. Greek and Russian tortoises are very similar in care. I think Russians can dig deeper though. I’ve heard Russians are much more destructive than Greeks. I have Russians and let me tell you- they are destructive! Have fun with your new friend!
