Hey y'all,

I just got back from being out of town for the last month and returned to find my torts not being cared for in a manner I had hoped. My female has started wheezing and making a high pitched whining noise today and has even started breathing through her mouth. I'm in a bit of a panic as it is late and I only just started hearing this from her late this evening. She's still eating but not with her usual veracity. I'm assuming that she as an URI or possibly pneumonia? I'm hoping to be able to get her into the vet asap. My male, which is in a separate enclosure seems to be ok however he is favoring his rear left leg. I'm hoping it's not broken but he will probably need to see the vet as well. Crossing my fingers that they will put me on a payment plan as I don't have a lot of money just sitting around.
