Hi just wondering for a list of safe food to feed my horse field tortoise who is 1. Also where can you buy these from (uk). Currently I'm feeding him romaine lettuce, cabbage, spring mix from morrisons, shredded carrots and baby leaf. Thanks

Hiya, I'm from the UK and I also have a Horsefield.
I feed mine on a little romaine lettuce (not too often though), rocket, watercress, escarole, chicory, endive, flat leaf parsley, petunia leaves and flowers, pansy leaves and flowers, radicchio, hibiscus, white clover leaves and flowers, English daisy, coriander herb, cauliflower greens, celerac, grated carrot (once a month) and very occasionally a cherry tomato for a super special treat. Also, sweet potato, butternut squash, raspberry leaves and flower (not fruit though), blackberry leaves and flower, plantain weed.

Most of this you can get from morrisons, asda and the majority of garden centres.

Here's a link to a helpful page...

Hope this helps you. Super cute little buddy as well! :)

You may want to try red leaf lettuce. They act like it is a treat but it is really healthy.
