Hello my 5 year old tortoise has always had issues and is 84g but has a very healthy shell and is slowly growing.
I noticed a few days ago they he probebly had sepsis and instantly took him to the vets. He was acting slow for a few days before but I shout that could have been due to him being cold. Frank was given a antibiotic injection and I am due back in two days for another, but I don't know if I should eb worried about his shell still slowly getting pinker (although to a very tiny amount). Frank has been eating a little since then but hardly seems to drink, and now I think something could be wrong as he isn't going toilet. I have tried soaking him in warm water but he just sits there not even seeming to drink. Both me and the vet had worried that he could be dehydrated but the vet wanted to wait till Wednesday to do anything as he is not an exotic specialist. I am unsure how much I should be encouraging him to eat or what he should eat (as a Herman tortoise) that could help him with going toilet, overall I am just unsure with what's best for him.
Thank you - Cloud, Frank and Gerard.

Is the vet sure of the diagnosis?
Even most reptile vets don't know enough about tortoises and you are using a vet that's not even a reptile vet.
Post a pic of your tortoise that you say is sepsis

this was from yesterday, since then more patches have showed up in little bits on his plastron. The vets did send photos of him around to other vets more practiced in tortoises, but they couldn't see Frank directly.
