Sex of Russian Tortoise?

I initially posted this to the New area but I thought this would be a better place, not sure how to delete the old post though.

Hi there!

We acquired a Russian Tortoise yesterday, who was living in a ten gallon aquarium, we have no idea age or really anything about it's past, I was just wondering if anyone had any guesses on the sex? I'm thinking girl but not 100% sure.

Hey! It is probably a young female. It possibly could be a very young male but if it were male I feel like it would've matured at that age. Looks 10+ years old. Can you send a pic of the the tail from the back? That sometimes helps.

Here's a picture of the back, Also weighs exactly 230 grams right now if that helps anything.

Nice! Yep, I'm thinking even more now it is a she. Congrats! Also, 230 grams sounds a bit underweight, so definitely let her pig out and always have food available. She'll gain weight pretty fast.
