What instructions would you included for someone just receiving a Russian Tortoise through overnight shipping.
All I know is a warm soak.
Thanks,
Debbie

A warm enclosure that's nice and large, enough humidity and food.

Any pics of your tort if you've received him/her?

There are different variants on this type of instruction, but I really like this card that JD Constriction includes with their snake sales. Wouldn't be hard to modify it appropriate for tortoises, specifically the feeding part. I do still agree with letting it alone for 5 days. It is just SO tempting to interact with a newly received animal, but stress is a main trigger for health issues in that window after receiving a shipment.
