Should I give him this medicine? Help!

So my male Russian tortoise, Tank is sick. The vet took an x-ray and said he has bone deficiency and is anorexic. Tank wont eat anything other than Romaine lettuce. They took a sample of his urine and found some blood in it. They are going to do a culture to see if he has a UTI.

The vet suggested I give him Critical Care for Herbivores and to give him liquid vitamin B every 48 hours.

Should I do these things? I fear he may be really sick, but most vets out here don't know all that much about tortoises. Please help!

They want to give him Critical Care for the bone deficiency.

It's a feeding supplement. It's not a medication.
I mixed mine with unflavored Pedialite instead of water.
It's very nutritious.
