I have had him for a year and didnt hibernate him last year as i was advised not too as he might not survive the cold temperature. He is 2 this year, should i hibernate him and can i have all the information on hibernating (maybe a wesite link) like how long to hibernate for, when and how. Thanks

I usually wait until they're three years old.

even though there's no real reason for it I wait until 3 or 4 as well. it just makes me feel more comfortable that way.

Its the same for me. Im not sure how old my russian is but hes 4.5". But still slows down during winter
Also, is there a reason why we dont hibernate babies? They would naturally hibernate in the wild yet its always a "no" to artificially hibernate babies until they're older. Just curious.
