Should I wipe my tortoises with a cloth until dry after soaking?

I have two Sulcata tortoises and I’ve been wiping my tortoises after soaking with a cloth ‘til it’s dry, but I was wondering if I was supposed to do that or not so I decided to ask.

Honestly, the whole idea behind soaking is to ensure your tortoise is well hydrated, top to bottom. Soaking also provides a place to help a tort scramble about, defecate, drink, etc. Soooo, in my opinion, there’s no reason at all to “dry” off the nice moisture drops on your Sullys shell.
