Hi, I have fed my red foot tortoises meat proteins & found that they have different preference to how the meats are prepared. Some are eaten completely raw, some they prefer a quick soaking in hot water, I feed them fish, shrimps bought fresh from the market, or some times fresh chicken from the butcher's & refrigerated later. I always thought my red foots would like freshness, I never feed them food made for humans.
