I just found this thread... it's AWESOME!!!! I love Russians!! Time to brag about my little girl, Ginger. She's going to turn about five years old this July. :) She's a stinker! And sorry for the billions of photos, but I tried to make an album and my computer won't let me. :(
Very cute, I can sense the love! :D My Steve hates wearing a hat or anything for more than 1 second. He's like his mama; he loves to be free!

My 4 inch boy, Sir Herman Tinkles. No idea how old he is. Super friendly. Extremely curious. A fast mover. Enjoys sunny walks especially through overgrown weeds, digging, climbing my hamper, and wagon rides with my son apparently (lol).

Meet Leonard! Aka Torty McTortface aka Tortasaurus Rex!!
"Tortasaurus rex," I like it. :D Very nice fencing! Did you find that at a craft store?

I just look at that and think: the tort's all grown up, married, and moved out to the suburbs, got a house with a white picket fence, 2.3 children... XD

Multiple tortoises? One's enough!! I don't know how old Clunk is, I've had him 8 years and was full grown when I received him. My guess he's a young adult due to his rambunctious nature.

I have come to the conclusion I have a shy tort on my hands. temps and humidity are great (I have been monitoring them like a hawk) and he doesn't want to come out of his hide. he'll only eat small amounts and then hide. and he will eat when outside. any ideas on how to get a shy Russian to "come out of its shell" lol

I put more dirt out in the open for my tort to dig in, and soon, she came out of her hide all of the time and became much less shy. However, my tort was a tad nosy to begin with. :)

When "mommy" comes home from work, Steve is pretty hungry, so I coax him out of his tunnel and he usually comes running. He knows I'll take him outside to his salad buffet garden. :D
