Hi all, wondering if you can help a newbie here. I have a 15 month Horsefield. I’ve only had him for a week, at first he was active, but now I’m noticing this week he’s sleeping a lot, I wait to see if he’ll wake up on his own, but if not I get him out of his sleeping area he’ll walk about for a bit then head on back to his sleeping area. Should I be worried?

Suggest you read the care sheet and review the closure the sand substrate you have is not recommended as they can it it during feeding etc.... switch to orchid bark mixed if you want with coir . This provides a humid damp base that they can cave into also spray with a water mister. Check you temps under the heat lamp and I see you have it clamped look at komono lamp stand to hang it and place the stone you have under it for basking . The clamp can fail and cause injury or fire hazard. As your in the UK check out swell reptiles for supplies.
