My Russian tort has been sleeping a lot lately. temps have not changed, the only change was the light time, from 12 hrs to 14 hrs a day, and a bigger/longer enclosure arranged the same as it was. He eats very well, no change there. but what could it be? he is ( as i assume) a WC so could it be just what he was always used to in his early life?

i searched previous posts but had no luck

Great he has a larger enclosure, but did that change affect the temps, basking/cool side?
If those are ok, and it sounds like your lights are good, might be he senses the change in weather.
