Small pink area on hermann tortoise plastron

Hi,
Yesterday I noticed a small pink area on the side of my hermann tortoises plastron.
I noticed after taking her out of a soak. It seemed to go away that evening but is back again this morning.

She is eating and is as active as usual. She is also still pooing.

I have recently changed the substrate to coconut fibre, could this have anything to do with it?

My view is that it is new growth as we are having great weather and this encourages growth. Speedy went up 15g in a week, this week. Keep an eye as lots of red can be other reasons.
