Hi I want to grow some edible snacks in my red foots enclosure. I am debating on clover or dandelions or fescue grass. I don't expect this to be his main meal I'll still be giving him his normal variety of food. But I am hearing different things. Such as some saying dandelions are too high in oxalates and some saying clovers have too much protein etc . So please help me what can I grow for him that is healthy and safe and sprouts fast

Mix it up.
They can eat almost any unprocessed, fresh or frozen (fresh is best) food that you eat. Including a diet of over 50% fruit and flowers. And some meat protein.
With such a giant menu available to them, no one thing needs to be a staple food.
Get creative.

I include a good diet list at the bottom of this thread I made, there’s lots more to add but it’s definitely a good start for some things to try😊

Feel free to use it to double check your equipment and levels etc too🙂
