Soft Plastron Baby Hermann / Shell rot?

I got a baby tortoise a few weeks ago and all has seemed fine until today I noticed his plastron seems unusually soft in a spot. This is my first tortoise so I don’t know how soft is normal for a baby vs what is concerning. Activity level and eating seem the same so far.
There is also a slightly wrinkly looking spot just below where it is softest. What is normal? What is a red flag? Anything I should do in the meantime? (Change substrate, less soaks, change diet, start calcium powder, etc). It is possible it has always been like this and I didn’t notice, but I doubt it. It seems concerningly soft and squishy.

Those areas look like superficial rub marks. Not a fungal issue.
The rest is normal. Umbilical scar area and normal baby wrinkling

Soft shells are normal in very young tortoises. Keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get softer or stay soft. What are you feeding him currently?

Is it soft like a sponge, or is it pliable like a plastic butter tub lid?

Where did you get the tortoise and how was it started?

What are you using for heating, lighting and UV? I can't see it in the picture.
