Some kind of succulent... Plant ID Please ;)

My neighbor has these in his yard. He said "Its some kind of succulent". it grows up to about 4' tall and looks kind of like a tree.. anyone know what this is? and if its tort safe?

And the kids on an adventure in the front yard...yummy hibiscus!

In the first picture are you talking about the green with white stripes at the bottom of the picture?

That's a type of agave.

The second picture is mother-of-millions.

the first picture i tried to show a full view of the plant... the second pic is a close up shot are they safe for the torti?
