I adopted her from a woman (my sister) who rescued her from a school agricultural program. My sister was told three years old, but that's all we've gone on.

Beautiful! I love her annoyed face! And her shell is so intricate. She certainly gives Carrie Fisher a run for her money! I actually had a leopard gecko named Leia when I was younger.

For now, we just have Leia! We are new to tortoise husbandry, so we don't want to move too quickly. My kids feel she NEEDs a friend, but I've told them won't consider adding another until we have Leia for at least six months. Then maybe we will add Han Solo Babcocki (or Yoda) to the mix!
