My Indian star tortoise is doing unusual things while peeing. I have never seen him doing this before . He is being doing this whole week so i got very concerned about his health. He is eating regularly he is roming around as usual he sleeps well he even does poop time to time but only thing he does usual is this odd looking flower type organ comming out from his tail while peeing and taking it back in when finished. Please help me figuring out what problem is going on with him. Tell me how to help him. Is it alarming or usual? What to do now ?

I do believe that is his penis. How old is he?
I agree with TammyJ. It is a scary sight, but there is nothing you need to do about it - try to keep the area clean, that's all. The only time it might be a problem is if it gets stuck out there,or injured in some way, in which case there will be people on the forum to advise you.

EB71CD85-28DE-400C-AED9-99CB39CCD04F.jpegHa ha ha…I was also very naïve about a male penis. He was Whilma up until he repeatedly flashed his penis that I thought was his innards falling out🤷‍♀️
By pure coincidence I ran across a post on some forum “you haven’t seen anything until your tort flashes his penis”.
Whilma became Willy (he was about 3yrs & had been living outside permanently around 6 months) & I put a soccer ball in his enclosure & haven’t seen his penis since…he obviously had to hump something 😆ATTACH=full]345581[/ATTACH]
