Are these two plants okay for a tort enclosure? I have them along with the Christmas cactus and hibiscus so if they are okay I will start some new plants so I have plenty for when I get a tortiose :0)

I did not see them on the list of plants on redfoot.com, but see that others mentioned spider plants and the donkeys tail was listed under a bird site as non toxic. (just making sure it is the same for a tort)

to the best of my knowledge both are non-toxic. Spider plant is widely considered pet-safe.

If you check enough lists very few plants manage not to make the toxic list somewhere. I've noticed that most of the time my torts won't eat something considered toxic even if offered, but you always need to watch :)

I have a fern in mouths reach in my enclosure, and ferns are generally considered un-safe, but not lethal if nibbled. My first tort never touched it, but the newer seems to like it so it may be coming out :(
