Yep. Among the rest are almost extinct on that island. Southern northern or eastern species of spider all are critically endangered.

The method is simple: bury tortoise in heated sand, wait 20 minutes, slurp superheated innards.

"It even comes in its own bowl," explains Solo, a seasoned tortoise hunter, although, he adds, "It's hard to get big or fat or full from eating such small animals."

Getting the tribe to stop eating them is probably out of the question. That's what humans do. Wipe out species.

Tortus, humans don't just wipe out species. Look at all the good tortoise keepers here on the forum. If we could get a couple dozen or so we could breed them and then they won't become extinct. You might not find them in the wild, but they would not die out. How can you tell a society of people with no food that they cannot eat the food that is in front of them? I think we, as a people, should breed them and keep them so that they can become as common as the sulcata. That would be really great.

If it where possible I'd get some to keep the species alive. It's almost like robbing the world of something fantastic hahaha
