[split] Question about sulcata...

Hi I have a two month old baby sulfate tortoise and I am not sure how to keep her even warmer I have a heat lamp but it's bot enough I live in southern Cali and it just got cold and she is getting slower and not eating as much Help please

You need a CHE. What do you have her in? Covering it will help keep the heat in. Lower the light and put something over top to keep in the heat?


A Ceramic Heat Emitter. It looks almost like a light bulb but the bottom is bigger. It just goes in the same ceramic socket that the heat light bulbs go into. It produces heat, but no light so it's perfect for overnight heating.

What is a CHE? but thank you! I have it covered and there is a heat lamp but she is kind of close to a window so I will move her and look up the CHE :) thank you again!
