[split] Russian Tort Shell Issues

I have several questions!!

I have a Russian tort. I've noticed his shell dose t look healthy I don't know whats wrong. It's like flaky in the creases between the plates he has these "grooves" like I think they are deep. The shell has gotten darker. I dint really know what to do or how to post a picture...
