spot on tortoise's eye

Can anyone tell me what this white spot was s is n my torts eye??

Dear Tom
This is her eye with a bright white spot on it
I found this recently and have used veterycin and teramicine and nothing is working.. can you tell me what you think this is and what to do for it???

Looks like an ulcer or some sort of injury to the eyeball. It takes a very long time for these things to clear up. You can soothe the eyeball and make the tortoise more comfortable with a soothing eye gel and a visit to a qualified tortoise vet:

Helpful hint: Don't chop your tortoise's food up so small. For a healthy beak he needs to bite off chunks. Biting keeps the beak filed down.
