Everybody knows I'm a tortoise person. But Box turtles run a close second. For the first time this year they got to go out. And I gotta say it was just like the first time at the lake, clothes coming off and running to the water and jumping in. They really had a good time, and frankly, I had a good time watching them.
This is Ginger. She was sent to me by a rescue in the MidWest. They thought she was blind. She's an Eastern box turtle and I don't know how old she is. But she's a box turtle with a Sulcata attitude. Such a personality.
