OK we are starting a new enclosure for our Tortoise and 3 toed box turtle. They will have their own setup. I will post picture as we start building it. This is what we are starting with. My guys are very small right now.

Finished cutting out the boxes and got them stained today. Going to get them cleared tomorrow and then put the window in and the linoleum laid.

That's going to be pretty nice. I'm curious about the hanging light, etc.

Still have a ways to go. The doors on the cabinet we are going to cut out and put glass in them that way you can look in and see them. The front of the boxes have a widow that you can pull down for easy access to the inside and the lights on the bottom one will hang from the bottom of the top one and then the top one the lights will hang from the top of the cabinet. Hopefully that all makes since. LOL

...and the lights on the bottom one will hang from the bottom of the top one and then the top one the lights will hang from the top of the cabinet. LOL

Unless you have good insulation on the bottom of the top one, that light below will probably overheat the top enclosure. I'm sure you'll do some test runs once together, but experience has caused me to be very careful stacking enclosures. When I do- I fully insulate between.

Just a thought to ponder...
