stimulates a sulcata to lay?

What can stimulates a sulcata tortoise to lay eggs? I know shes gravid because i found a few eggs around her enclosure but no eggs in her nests she has dug a few holes but ive had eyes onher for weeks now and no lay. She diggs all night then sleep in the hole exhausted. any help thanks.

This may sound strange...But are you sure she hasn't laid.. I know when my females lays she does a great job of hiding the nest.. Even after seeing her nest I had to slowly dig two or three holes to find the eggs....

Yes i checked all her holes and she still has them dugged and not barried

Them she's just not happy with the ground she's digging. Experiment in different areas by Making the substrate vary of different dampness.
