Has anyone had a chance to read Stolen World: A Tale of Reptiles, Smugglers, and Skulduggery by Jennie Erin Smith?

Part of the book goes into the details of the infamous "plowshare tortoise theft" of 1996, which may be of some interest to tortoise keepers. I thought it was interesting (as I did the entire book). Definitely a glimpse at a different time in the reptile industry.

I also did a review of the book on my blog a while back, if anyone cares.

Also curious if anyone has read Bryan Christy’s book The Lizard King? More or less the same general subject, but different characters.

Read Lizard King, and was impressed with how neutral and balanced it was even though dealing with people breaking the law. Want to read Stolen World.
