& no they are not in with any tortoises.

The first pic resembles a Stapelia - does it have star-shaped flowers? Last pic - Opuntia and possibly Euphorbia scratch and see if sap is white. Middle? Sorry I couldn't be more help.

I've never seen flowers on #1.
My apologies, I should have cropped #3 as the Opuntia was not the plant in question, But valiant effort.

#2 - Mother-of-millions (can't remember the latin name

#3 - Euphorbia tiricalli

I can't remember if the first two are edible or not, but most euphorbias have some toxicity.

#1 is Carrion Plant, Stapelia gigantea

#3 is Indian tree spurge, Euphorbia tirucalli
